2/12/2009 - This Friday!: Tavern from Tower Square, Plainville, MA - Kevin w/Grass Gypsys! Beginning this month, we play there together every second Friday of the month.
Stay tuned for more dates, I think there's a March 6th Bell St. Chapel w/Kristi Martel, maybe an F000 date on the horizon.

Here's the deal, I'm playing a gig with Kristi, one with Spogga, probably two with Grass Gypsys ... a solo gig alternating w/Lara Herscovitch, and a handful of private parties. So it's busy, and I'm delighted. And I got a few new tunes I've been playing.

This venue's gotta get found out. I've been there a bunch of times and I guess people just haven't heard about it yet, but it's there ... near the zoo! 50 Rounds Ave, Cranston RI. I'm the featured performer at the open mic, so bring your guitar too if you like. 8pm, Suggested donation $5.

I was once again blessed with the chance to play a nice long set in front of a beautifully attentive and appreciating audience in Cambridge Friday night.

Out of the Blue is a small art gallery that hosts live music, and it's a great combination. Three or four other acts played that night, all of them spectacular. All The Animals, Brief Awakening, and my friends The Grass Gypsys. Here's my set:

That was my set. This was Grass Gypsys' CD re-release party for their first album "Legends, Myths & Fairytales", and they played a real special set with guests, and Justin playing his long lost electric!

Gary Backstrom Band were great too; turns out I kinda know Gary & didn't realize it .. I missed the Humblebee set though.

A lot of great players & writers in this circle of folks. Look for more dates with the Grass Gypsys later this spring & summer.
